The Parks and Recreation Department of Fishers, IN was searching for a mascot. One that would evoke family fun, utilize some nostalgic parts of the city and be able to be used at P&R events and functions. “P. Recs”, a simple play on that famous dinosaur is always a kid favorite and would be easily converted into a costume. “Nick L. Plate” is a take on the famous train station area of Fishers and beloved by many of the residents. A whimsical train adorned in the Fishers Parks colors is family friendly for all.
